KNOW THE PRODUCT / GUIDE

A practical guide. Step by step.

A bilingual getting-started guide built from the supplied product documentation. App controls and workflows may evolve with releases.

Before you begin

01What do I need?
Nexivo is a Windows x64 desktop app. Some network/audio functionality needs native Windows services or administrator approval during setup. Exact OS and storage requirements should be confirmed for the published installer.
02Create or sign in to an account
Use the Sentinel account connected to the product. New registrations require email verification before sign-in; licensing and trials are managed through Sentinel Pro.
03Licensing and updates
The licensing window shows your plan and entitlement state. Activation and updates obey the approved product/version policy.

Networks & connectivity

01Ethernet and Wi-Fi
Select the physical adapter, inspect status, IPv4 and DNS, and verify access before making changes. Some operations require a Windows service and administrator approval.
02PPPoE / BOE connection
Enter your ISP credentials, optionally enable protected local saving, then connect. Monitor, reconnect or disconnect from the dedicated page.
03DNS and IPv4
Use DHCP/automatic settings unless manual configuration is required. Choose available DNS profiles or enter your own resolvers; filtering depends on the chosen external DNS provider.

VPN privacy shield

01Free VPN Gate
Refresh the available server list, choose a location, review the provider policy and consent, then connect and verify the public IP. Availability and throughput vary.
02Proton / OpenVPN
Create a free Proton account with the provider, download an OpenVPN configuration available for your plan, and import it into Nexivo. Enter your OpenVPN credentials. Any paid provider account is optional and separate.
03What does a VPN change?
A working VPN changes the network route and observed public IP. It does not alter GPS, erase browser fingerprinting, or guarantee no-logging on volunteer servers.

Audio & recording

01Volume controls
Adjust Windows volume and media from the app or floating orb. Mouse wheel gestures step through volume and then digital gain, within engine limits.
02EQ and digital amplification
A 10-band EQ and up to 2000% digital gain require a configured audio engine, potentially Equalizer APO and Windows administrator consent. High gain can clip and distort; start low.
03Recording audio
Explicitly select a microphone, record/pause/resume, then use the library for local edits and exports. The visualizer alone does not save audio.

Automation & shortcuts

01Add a hotkey
In Smart Actions, create a rule, capture a shortcut, select an action and save. Inspect any Windows/app shortcut conflicts.
02Text expansion
Add a trigger and replacement text in Arabic or English. Choose immediate, Space or Enter activation and whether to keep trailing spaces/newlines.
03AutoHotkey v2
Choose a one-shot AHK v2 command or a persistent full script with its own hotkeys. Start or stop it from the rules panel. The interpreter is bundled, does not automatically elevate, and should only run trusted code.

Backups & privacy

01Create an encrypted backup
The app requires a separate backup password and protects the archive using AES-256-GCM. Keep the password; the backup cannot be restored without it.
02Restore a backup
Review the preview before confirming. Restoration replaces included data and may require a restart; it does not transfer the login session or license.
